Jan 2015 – Jan 2015 Myself and two other interns took a TrueCar-to-car manufacturer web tool for managing marketing materials with a user-friendly analytics platform, from inception to a working prototype. During research, I conducted interviews with personnel in the company who were in roles similar to those of our target users to determine feasibility, as well as determine the strength of the market for automobile data analytics tools. After validation, I structured a more usable information hierarchy for analytics, iterated on UI designs and optimized the UX. I presented my findings and designs, daily, to my mentors for discussion, and improved on them for the next session.
