# Karla Seaton-Macedo > Product / Visual Designer / Design Strategist Location: Fremont, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/karla I am a highly collaborative strategic partner Visual and Product Designer. I have worked at start-ups, in-house design teams, and consulting firms, building web experiences, products, and growing brands. My experience lies in transforming complex problems into simple, delightful experiences that drive measurable business growth. Design leader by day, community builder always. I'm passionate about creating products that make people's lives better, whether I'm designing intuitive user flows or crafting engaging brand experiences. With roots in healthcare tech, insurance, and education, I've learned that the best solutions come from truly understanding the humans behind the screens. I thrive on collaborating with cross-functional teams, bridging the gap between design vision and technical implementation. When I'm not crafting user experiences, you'll find me contributing to design communities and mentoring others – because building meaningful connections is at the heart of everything I do. I believe in the power of thoughtful design to transform both digital experiences and human lives. Let's connect and create something impactful together! ## Work Experience ### Senior Designer @ Critical Mass Jan 2025 – Present | San Francisco Bay Area CM at  Inc. + other CM portfolio brands. ### Climatebase Fellow @ Climatebase Jan 2025 – Jan 2025 | San Francisco Bay Area Cohort 7 member of the Climatebase Fellowship, a 12-week climate career accelerator connecting professionals with industry leaders, founders, and a global network driving climate solutions.
