The Quiz Bowl club at American High School consisted of three formal teams in addition to other general and seasonal members. Our teams placed 1st and 2nd at the Northern California State Championships, 2nd at the California Cup Series, and 2nd at the Texas Quiz Bowl Invitationals in our rookie season. After such exemplary performance, our team qualified (in the 2023-2024 season and the 2024-2025 season) for the NAQT High School National Championship Tournament hosted by National Academic Quiz Tournaments and the Quiz Bowl National Scholastic Championship hosted by Partnership for Academic Competition Excellence.
