Implemented a new feature in one of Instart’s security product that combats the rising threat of fake web crawlers abusing or slowing down client websites by identifying the type and validity of a web crawler using user-agent and ASN

Designed and implemented a new root detection algorithm in various Instart’s security products using Lua which improved the existing detection accuracy from 94.32% to 100%.

Developed and built test suite in TypeScript and used nightwatch.js framework along with browser-stack to perform automated end-to-end testing for the bot management product among various browsers and different browser versions.

Implemented a global whitelist feature for the internal Nginx servers to whitelist IP addresses/subnets from security rules.
