Product design:

· Design user flows, interfaces, and features across Etsy.com and the Buy on Etsy app for both iOS and Android

· Partner closely with engineering to push out A/B experiments in Etsy codebase

Strategy:

· Partner with product manager and engineering to prioritize and sequence work, and ensure team goals are aligned with business goals

· Lead workshops with product, engineering, insights, and other stakeholders to define roadmap and team goals to best solve user problems

User research:

· Design and build prototypes, develop user testing approach, guide user research sessions, and usability testing, as well as synthesize results and plan next steps based on qualitative findings and quantitative metrics from our analyst

· Identify A/B test opportunities, appropriate success metrics, and plan subsequent iterations

Product design:

· Designed user flows, interfaces, and features across checkout experience on Etsy.com and our app, Buy on Etsy for both iOS and Android

· Key buyer projects and initiatives include multishop checkout which allowed buyers to purchase from multiple shops in one transaction, and guest checkout which allowed buyers to check out without an Etsy account, and working with our research team to implement a site intercept and solicit feedback from users

· Key seller projects include guest checkout on Pattern: Etsy's custom website builder, and revamping Etsy's seller billing and payment management system

Design Family Hour:

· Planned, scheduled speakers, organized field trips, and MC'd weekly gatherings for Design Family Hour: an internally organized event series that aims to try and inspire our Etsy design team to make more meaningful and exciting work.

Product Design:

· Pioneered new design and code format for Karma’s transactional emails to make them more fun, branded, and compatible in all email clients

· Led design of customer dashboard to support new capabilities like purchasing data as well as modifying subscription preferences

· Designed landing pages to support ongoing targeted marketing campaigns to measure impact of advertisements and messaging

· Contributed to systemizing design at Karma by creating a Sketch UI kit and pattern library

Marketing:

· Designed, illustrated, and animated graphics for emails, banner ads, physical mailers, and press kits

· Photographed and styled product photography to support marketing campaigns and online advertisements

· Developed and executed marketing campaigns with director of brand experience

· Made a stop motion animation movie to support product launch on social media

Product Design:

· Streamlined maintenance of Tattly’s website, blog, and newsletter; created graphics to support marketing campaigns

Print & Collateral:

· Designed all printed collateral including annual wholesale catalogs, brochures, and all outgoing documents for wholesale orders/vendors, donation requests, and events

· Designed point-of-purchase display unit for Tattly's first appearance in Target

· Designed event backdrops, signage, and swag items

Production:

· Applied tattoos on models for photo shoots, assisted in styling, set up, and clean up of sets

· Preflighted illustrations for tattoo printing and executed all pre-press for Tattly catalogs

· Edited, retouched, and archived photos

Vendor/Freelancer Relations:

· Communicated regularly with all print vendors, web developers, and photographers/retouchers to complete all print and web based projects

· Hired and liaised with freelance web developer to design a Tattly Custom Client Archive

· Researched and visited new vendors

Events:

· Represented Tattly at trade shows like NY NOW and National Stationery Show, making sales to new and existing wholesalers

· Worked Tattly application stations at corporate, charity, and promotional events; answered FAQs about the product
