Recently a Lead Fullstack Software Engineer at Tensure where I contracted at Mailchimp, working on 3rd party API integrations within Mailchimp’s marketing automation platform, working primarily in React and PHP. 

Prior to this position I was a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer and Team Lead working in React and Rails. I led the frontend guild, regularly worked with people across teams and departments, built a new component library from scratch, and was team lead while working to bring in 3rd party API partnerships into our core site. 

Before that I was a Fullstack React/PHP developer building in house and customer-facing applications at Bay Alarm, the largest privately-owned security company in the country. I brought powerful features to the customer site, focusing on usability and clean UI. For the internal sites I worked closely with different departments to streamline workflow and I excel at building apps that maximize productivity and reduce human error. 

I’m a passionate programmer and volunteer every year teaching HTML and CSS at the high school and have led a Girls Who Code club at the middle school to encourage more girls to take technology classes. I also love programming my personal projects on the weekends!
