Processed biweekly payroll for ~175 employees across two companies. Educated employees on the array of benefit plans available to them in clear and concise language, and implemented enrollment, termination and open enrollment.
Designed and led payroll withholding general ledger account reconciliation processes, and contributed to the bank account reconciliation team’s processes.
Developed SQL-based reports using MySQL and other database management tools (Crystal Reports, Power Pivot, Vivid CPM, Vivid Flex) that streamlined the analytical portions of payroll processing and improved other areas of accounting, sales and operations.
Created, designed and tested variable compensation plans alongside the Vice President of Sales with the above reports.
Deepened familiarity with established custom reporting in order to assume report maintenance duties ordinarily performed by the controller, and rewrote many for improved utility and speed.
Led the annual benefits open enrollment process with brokers - carrier selection and negotiation, plan design, communication to employees.
