The International Child Art Foundation (ICAF) cultivates children’s creativity and world empathy. As an arts advocate, I was drawn to ICAF's purpose and the VR Heaven Project that was planned for the 6th World Children’s Festival on the Washington D.C Mall. Due to COVID-19 the festival was delayed, however, I was given the opportunity to research VR technology and meet VR experts. Xometry is a manufacturing market place. Using AI, buyers can get an instant quote for parts in multiple manufacturing processes and get connected with a manufacturing shop that will build their part to spec.
In 2021, Xometry went public on NASDAQ under the stock symbol XMTR.
I worked closely with product managers and developers to research and design features and products that met user and stakeholder needs. With the agile software team, I was lead designer for two squads and co-designed for two others. These were the products I worked on: Company website, E-commerce Supplies Store, Quoting Engine, Request for Quote Application, Manufacturing Partner Portal, Internal ordering and outsourcing portal, and CAD software add ins.
