Hi! I'm Kavitha, a product and software engineering professional. I am a Computer Science graduate from Santa Clara University, with a minor in Chemistry.
Member of the Product team responsible for an AI Financial Advisor Application. Product manager/developer for User Onboarding and Account Opening workflows. Performed competitive user experience analysis of leading Robo advisor tools, worked with cross functional teams to define user journeys for various account types, and defined the short term and mid term roadmap for the product.

Developed the front end of workflows in Flutter, used AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Twilio to implement phone verification.

Worked with LangGraph and Python to add AI capabilities for enterprise solutions. Objective was to streamline client experience of app development on the JIFFY.ai platform.

Managed and mentored an intern, setting milestones while developing their technical and professional skills.
Lead the planning, organizing, and execution of a Career Development series in Fall 2023, as well as various other technical or career oriented workshops in Winter and Spring 2024 for Santa Clara students interested in Computer Science. Events range from resume/LinkedIn workshops, personal project workshops, student and industry panels, and interviewing workshops. Ideated and worked with other board members to start the SCU ACM Mobile App Project, a club wide project to help members gain real world experience. Work with other ACM board members to organize other events and hackathons.
Raised $19,000 with my co-Industry Liaison for ACM and ACM-W's (ACM Women's Chapter) 10th annual Hack for Humanity (a social good hackathon) in 2023. 2023's Hack for Humanity was the largest one to date, with 300+ signups and $6,000 in prizes. Worked with other board members to organize and execute 2-3 events per week. Planned, organized and executed a career development workshop and an Open AI APIs workshop.
Worked with the rest of ACM board to organize ACM's annual Hack for Humanity (attended by 100+ people), put on events garnering 40-50 people, and bring an underclassman's perspective to the club.
