Part of HPE NonStop SQL/MX development group. Involved in design and development of HPE NonStop SQL/MX database features in releases R3.4, R3.5 and R3.6. Worked in SQL Compiler team delivering new features of roadmap and contributing to sustenance in parallel.

Major responsibilities include design, prototyping, coding and testing of new features in compiler component, handling a mix of customer and internal issues reported on the product, driving design discussions with other team members involved in the feature development, engage with test team to ensure thorough testing, help Documentation team with the content for the feature.

Experienced in design documentation, test plan development, test automation, code inspections, code merge, regression test result analysis, root cause analysis, interacting with global customer support team and sustaining related activities. Mentoring new hires and providing training on the product. Flexible with waterfall and agile software development cycles.

Worked on the design and development of new features/ enhancements to Teradata RDBMS internals (in Parser/ Compiler and AMP subcomponents) which were released in Teradata 14.10, 15.0 and 15.10 using C/C++ language.

Worked on the enhancements to the grammar rules, data dictionary tables and in the components which are involved in syntax checking, resolution and optimization of the SQL query to support Pseudo Period datatype.
