Hi there! I’m Kavya, a Computer Science major at Harvey Mudd passionate about exploring how AI can tackle real-world problems. Recently, I’ve been diving into topics like agentics, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and A2A, and I’m fascinated by how these tools can power smarter, more connected systems.

I’m especially interested in computer vision, deep learning, and how machine learning can be applied to areas like medical imaging and climate science. I’m also curious about cybersecurity and how we can make AI systems safer and more reliable.

Right now, I’m focused on building strong foundations in AI and software engineering, while experimenting with new tools and frameworks that push the boundaries of what’s possible.

### Inexpensive Hyperspectral Imager for Remote Classification @ Synopsys Science Fair

· Designed and constructed an inexpensive Hyperspectral imaging apparatus to remotely classify flames and fresh produce.
· Used a diffraction grating, a homemade aperture, and a standard DSLR camera to take pictures
· Trained a machine learning algorithm using those pictures to classify the flames of different oils
· Explored various Convolutional Neural Networks on Matlab for deep learning and image classification
