•Managing teams of designers, developers, and subject matter experts to articulate a clear vision for products and define an attainable scope that meets needs and accomplishes established goals within a timely manner.
•Leading the development and execution of a strategic plan for the implementation an enterprise-level forms and workflow software at the City of Boston that supports over 130 constituent interactions a day.
•Spearheading the integration with four separate enterprise-level systems including the City’s payment provider, identity and access management, document storage on Google Drive, and the City’s cloud-based data warehouse.
•Brought upwards of 40 individual applications online for 30 different constituent-facing interactions.
•Pioneering new ways of displaying data on boston.gov that automatically update with new information and are user-friendly:
•Lead the creation of a reusable, interactive, and customizable map component on boston.gov used to display more than 20 different maps throughout the site. Managed and oversaw the user testing performed by two summer fellows.
•Defined the vision form and managed the development of the my neighborhood application which brings together 20 datasets and displays over 30 pieces of information to users about their address in the City of Boston.
•Overseeing the implementation of PostGIS onto the City of Boston’s data warehouse. Creating standards for geospatial SQL work at the City outlined in a series of medium posts.
