I’m a Solutions Engineer for G-Net, focused on network observability and security solutions, working from pre-sales engagements all the way through to post sales installation, configuration, and training. At G-Net, I work with products from partners such as Riverbed, Gigamon, Crowdstrike, Corelight, Dynatrace, Palo Alto, and Versa Networks, to name a few. Prior to my career in technology, I did geographic fieldwork in 47 US States as well as four Canadian provinces. Jan 2023 – Jan 2023 | Long Island, NY ### Field Data Collection Technician @ HERE Technologies Jan 2011 – Jan 2019 | Greater New York City Area Responsible for operation and maintenance of HERE TRUE data collection rig in a variety of conditions and environments, meeting or exceeding on-time completion goals for specific collection areas and overall data-collection coverage goals annually. Served as the primary operator for field testing of multiple complete overhauls of the HERE TRUE data collection software system in 2013, 2017, and 2019 and assisted with the drafting of documentation for new data collection tools and software. Provided ongoing testing and feedback to vehicle engineering team between releases that directly led to implementation of several new and upgraded features in HERE TRUE Control software. Performed field repairs to various collection systems including troubleshooting, replacement of rig hardware components, disassembly of control box PC’s and troubleshooting, rewiring, and replacement of internal PC components. Coordinated with field offices around the US and Canada to handle targeted data collection, working with ATLAS and TRUE Control to identify changes and provide updated notes to local field teams. Acted as an on-call resource to colleagues for questions and troubleshooting regarding the operation of HERE TRUE collection rig and related software. ### Licensed Process Server @ RBA, Inc. Jan 2009 – Jan 2012 | Greater New York City Area Licensed NYC Process Server. Served court orders and processes, including summons, subpoenas, and orders. Filed documents with courts to be So Ordered and served legal filings throughout and around New York City. Also responsible for locating individuals attempting to evade process, by researching workplace and family addresses, frequent social environs, social media etc. ### Enumerator, Crew Leader Asst., Recruiter @ U.S. Census Bureau Jan 2009 – Jan 2010 | Glen Cove, NY Worked on a variety of operations for the 2010 U.S. Census as a Crew Leader Assistant, Enumerator, and Recruiter. As an Enumerator, worked to establish relationships with large institutional residences and points of contact for transient populations to prepare for Census Day counts. As a CLA, trained a team of 20 Enumerators in the operation of handheld GPS mapping devices, performed field evaluations and training, reviewed fieldwork for accuracy and completeness and verified map alterations. Provided field support for malfunctioning GPS devices, and geography and location support for Enumerators in the field. Identified and resolved severe geography and map inaccuracy issues during Address Canvassing phase. As a recruiter, in between field operations, coordinated employment testing and recruitment scheduling at 35 sites around Nassau County. ### Mac Specialist @ Apple Jan 2004 – Jan 2008 | Westbury, NY Front line sales of Apple Computers, Software, Accessories, and iPods, as well as front line customer service, troubleshooting and triage of customer devices. As Part Time Specialist, led the Roosevelt Field team in CPU Units Sold in Q1 of 2005, and was a top 3 finisher in Q4 2004 and Q2 2005. Promoted to Full Time in 2006, taking on additional non-sales responsibilities. Followed that by leading the Roosevelt Field team in individual sales for three consecutive quarters, being named to Apple’s “Million Dollar Club” four times and finishing FY ’05 and ’06 at the top of store sales team. Consistently delivered top attachment and satisfaction metrics and quality customer service. Drove lead generation for small business sales development. Trained and taught new Mac users in public workshops and custom ProCare classes.
