At Tidepool, we are developing an interoperable automated insulin dosing application for people with Type 1 diabetes. Our retrospective data visualization tools are in use by 900,000+ people with diabetes, their care partners and health care providers today. 

As Chief Product Officer at Tidepool, I lead our product strategy and development of our product roadmap across all lines of business. This includes cross-functional collaboration, feasibility assessments, and strategic alignment with our leadership and product development teams. I lead and guide a team of product managers, product designers, user researchers, human factors engineers, and data scientists fostering a culture of continuous improvement. 

With a background in bench research, consumer product design, and engineering, I possess a deep understanding of the product lifecycle, from initial concept to market. I am a passionate advocate for patient data ownership, interoperability standards, and the ethical application of AI in health. I am dedicated to scaling open-source software ecosystems that redefine and disrupt proprietary and legacy standards. I sit at the intersection of advanced data science, regulatory strategy, and product execution to lead applied AI initiatives in healthcare. My team champions a user-centric approach– translating complex computational modeling into intuitive and high-impact tools that bridge the gap between technical sophistication and patient/clinician needs. 

Women's health is also an important part of my team's work– championing the voices of our female users ensuring our products reflect their diverse needs and challenges. I actively mentor and support women aspiring to leadership roles within health tech, both within Tidepool and in the broader industry. 

Outside of work, you'll find me running the trails north of San Francisco.
