Manage an amazing team of Design Technologists(DT) and drive innovative solutions for Indeed Products.
There are 2 types of projects:
Experimental
Communicate with different business partners, then work with UX members, researchers, designers and product owners to discover explorational needs. Plan out the timeline, technologies, and DT resources to develop prototypes for user testing and eventually for engineering team
Business Oriented
Embed DTs to follow each production team sprints, and roll out experimental features for A/B testing on a weekly basis. After A/B testing, work with the product teams and collaborate with the engineering team to planning out refinements, deliverables, and deployment strategies.
What have I been doing:
• Inherited a team of 3 DTs, then on-boarded 3 extra DTs in San Francisco
• Successfully attracted and hired 2 DTs in San Francisco
• Embedded 2 DTs and 2 Designers to roll out a new Design System (DS) and its website (DSW)
• Embedded 1 DT to implement DS Components for Indeed Inbox - https://inbox.indeed.com/messages
• Embedded 2 DTs into Job Alert and Email team to deliver DS Refinements and A/B testing.
• Collaborated with Mutual Engagement teams to develop prototypes, to experiment new Communication Experiences in-between Job seeker and Employer (MSG)
• Conduced DSW/MSG User Testing , worked with the Engineering teams for staffing and DT resources.
Nevertheless, I have recently...
• Provided Quarterly Reviews and Calibration Reviews to team members
• Created reqs to hire UI and Front End focus DTs in Mountain Views
