I got my start in biochemistry but quickly learned about my passion for technology and software development. I love that every day of my job is another puzzle to be solved, whether its the implementation of new user functionalities or fixing a pesky bug that disrupts the user experience. Although these puzzles can be frustrating and tricky, once solved, they can produce real world outcomes. I value working for companies with high integrity and a strong mission for good, where I can have a clear understanding of the vision that we are trying to pursue. I am currently studying for my Masters in Data Science to progress my skill set. This is helping me to combine my love for research and data which started working in labs during my biochemistry undergrad, and my love for automation and real-time user outcomes driven by data.

Through Brigham Young University and Nu Skin, I created and conducted public health research of rural villages for Nu Skin's CSR outreach: the School for agriculture and family independence (SAFI). By use of translator I interviewed over 175 participants and conducted hematocrit test for red blood cell anemia. Currently compiling research for academic use and to implement as curriculum for SAFI.
