End-to-end, multi-platform product and UX design for clients in legal, finance, and education technology. Responsibilities include interaction design, user research, product strategy, marketing design, and visual design.

First designer in a team of data scientists, data engineers, and developers. Developing a data viz tool that enables the Small Business Administrative (SBA) to better understand their impact on small businesses using open-sourced data.

Hosted design sprints and whiteboard sessions, defining design specs

and scope for the project. Worked closely with developers to design

feasible features and wireframes.

Improved UX for the platform’s navigation, data visualizations, and teacher onboarding. Organized user interviews and usability testing. Established communication and collaboration between the remote San Diego office and the main office in DC.

Collaborated with executives and investors to design keynotes and pitches. Successfully received buy-in on projects from executives and the main DC team. Built up the San Diego design team.
