• Responsible for end-to-end design and implementation of features, from SQL to client and common client-server APIs
• Responsible for the Polyvore Editor: a 100% JS image-collaging tool that is the core of the user experience
• Designed and built Photoshop-like features in the Editor, including rotation, scaling, selection, text, undo
• Developed and evangelized engineering best practices
• Implementation highlights: UI guidelines + component framework, A/B testing framework, code style guide, page speed tools, JS and perl perf tools, infinite scroll, autocomplete
• Lead frontend development team of 3.

• Developed data import pipeline: 200+ distributed crawlers, 300+ feeds with automated quality monitors
