Kent is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and he is an award winning designer. As a Data Visualization Lead at Google, Kent partnered with the AI for the advancement of AI/ML. He conceived Google's first approach to data visualization system and created its first design system. Before that, Kent helped establish Rivit, an AI-powered app that helped millions of Fitbit's 30 students develop their reading skills. Kent's work and ideas have appeared in many publications, including Fast Company, Tech Crunch, The Guardian and the Harvard Business Review. He has presented at many conferences, including SXSW, Interaction, and many others. He has a background in teaching and has taught at universities including University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University.
