The similarity between predictions of different mathematical models of egg shape geometry and natural egg shapes were assessed.  Also, color of eggshells was measured by human observation, image J software and spectrophotometry analysis, in order to determine if egg coloration is a variable identity signaling.

Changes in memory and learning we assessed following testosterone (T) and estradiol (E2) delivery via injection in castrated (CAS) male rats. Behavioral assays including object placement and object recognition were administered. Differences in dendritic spine density in T, E2 and control rats were assessed in both hippocampus CA1 pyramidal and dentate gyrus neurons.
