Worked as part of the SimpliVity Data Path Engineering team on the OmniCube, a cutting edge hyper-converged storage system. Created robust unit tests for new and existing functionality within the system using the C++ Boost Test Framework, and improved overall code coverage in multiple areas of the Data Path. Successfully implemented the infrastructure to dynamically configure part of the OmniCube storage system in C++ over the course of several months, allowing system settings to be modified without the need for down time. Learned about and took part in agile development processes. Contributed to Data Path Engineering documentation. Learned about distributed storage systems, RAID, C++ development tools & practices, concurrency, and the Atlassian development tool suite.
