Owned and developed an easy to consume, comprehensive, WCAG 2.1 accessible design system for a health-tech start up that consisted of: an easy-to-use component library, pre built templates, best practices guidelines, training workshops and roundtable meetings.
Led prioritization workshops to discover design, product and engineering team needs and used the results to develop and maintain a clear roadmap to track and execute on design system progress.
Collaborated with an external team to audit and document accessibility in Stellar’s product which led to significant improvements through color, font, spacing, alt tags, and keyboard accessible patterns.
Increased the efficiency of design team processes by organizing and leading hands-on training sessions to teach advanced Figma features including complex components, booleans, nested instances, preferred instances, branching, auto-layout & complex prototyping.
Developed a proprietary component creation process called the “Rule of Three” accounting for simple, common and complex use-cases.
