Rescale helps companies run high powered computer simulations in a multi cloud environment (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Most of my work was in backend and infrastructure. Our team owned cloud infrastructure, logging, backend, deployments, devops, license proxies, firewalls, and many internal tools.

Personal Contributions: 
- Designed and deployed a CNAF (Cloud Native Application Firewall) on AWS via CloudFormation templates to control all traffic leaving a customers’ compute. This closed a 6 figure deal.
- Integrated our automated test reporting to a daily slack post where engineers could collaborate on solving why tests were failing.
- Added the ability to live-reconfigure our gunicorn workers without redeploying the platform. This allowed tweaking our web app on the fly for optimal resource usage.
- Migrated over 5000 lines of python into 1000 lines of JSON for better maintainability.
