Studied Korean language full-time at Sogang University.

As a member of the Solutions Architecture team, I designed, estimated, and implemented custom software solutions for DMI's customers. During pre-sales I worked with prospective customers and the sales team to scope a project, architect the server/software setup, and research third-party commercial and open source integrations. During implementation I served as a technical lead, communicated frequently with customers and the dev team, and ensured that developers had a productive working environment. Managed project staffing and career development for 4 software engineers and participated in the office management team.

Worked on a highly available web platform which serviced some of the world’s largest art fairs. Developed new features, increased site reliability and customer satisfaction by improving the monitoring and performance, and streamlined the development process. Contributed open source enhancements to the gradle build tool. Converted a legacy ant build into a gradle/docker/npm build, significantly decreasing build and deploy times. Led a development team building a large, dynamic AngularJS application.
