Thus, I developed an application that would allow child life coordinators to schedule virtual meet ups between child life volunteers and patients. This multi-dimensional application not only allows for both administrators and volunteers to interact, it also provides the ability for new volunteers to apply. - Developed front-end in React.js and backend in Ruby on Rails framework - Styled using Google’s Material UI library for React and React Styled Components package - Implemented React Redux to handle all state objects ### The Movie Club @ Flatiron School Jan 2020 – Jan 2020 While COVID-19 was running rampant around the world and requiring the population to quarantine, my loneliness and desperation for human interaction inspired this application. The Movie Club app allows users to join and create movie clubs with friends and even strangers. Each club can be personalized and members can schedule, discuss, and review movies with their clubs. The best part is, movie clubs can write reviews for the movies they watch and the reviews become public for others to read and gain insight from. - Developed front-end in React.js - Styled using React Styled Components package - Built backend in Ruby on Rails framework ### Marvel Comic Book App @ Flatiron School Jan 2020 – Jan 2020 I love comic books. They have provided me a lot of joy for most of my life and I realized that sometimes it can be hard to get into comics if you don't know where to start. Therefore, I developed the Marvel Comics app, which allows users to search and review Marvel Comic Books. But the best feature is the random comic generator that gives you a random Marvel comic book suggestion. - Built front-end in vanilla JavaScript - Developed back-end in Ruby on Rails - Designed using straight CSS only ### Production Coordinator @ Star Group Productions Jan 2018 – Jan 2020 | Greater New York City Area Cipriani holds over 300 events a year and the production for each show is provided by Star Group Productions. Group lessons provided a challenge initially since the level of skills varied among the participants, but it taught me to be more adaptable and develop drills that would accommodate all players regardless of their skill level. I was also an instructor for their Youth Summer Tennis Camp, which allowed me to work with kids and introduce a game that I am passionate about to the next generation of tennis players. ### Executive Development Program @ Macy's Jan 2015 – Jan 2016 | 9111 Duke Blvd. Mason, OH 45040 It is a 20-month rotational development program within the following areas: Customer Service, Credit Granting, Collections, Fraud, Fraud Analytics, Credit Marketing, Learning & Development, Finance, Business Intelligence, Retail Services Operations, and/or Selling Support Services.
