Working as a full-stack engineer on a modest-sized team to improve and add functionality to a collaborative cloud-sharing platform.
Built and released an Alexa skill for on the fly use
Re-architected the application to Angular front-end
Coded python scripts to handle migration of data to new data model in mongoDB
Implemented an asynchronous flask based stream server utilizing Celery to push notifications to users.
Designed and coded a customizable white labeling service to support 30+ unique customers.
Manage integration of payment platform for the site on both front-end and back-end through Chargebee.
Integrate other third-party applications into the site such as Morningstar, Plaid and HelloSign.
Build multiple dockerized python base micro-services to offload asynchronous tasks, such as email handling, and thumbnail generation

Screened multiple cells lines in benchtop bioreactors for suitable cell performance and explored various culture methods to produce suitable drug characteristics and improve drug yield. Once a cell line was selected, I helped carry the cell line from thaw to large scale manufacturing in a 1000L pilot scale bioreactor. Cells were ran in shake flasks, disposable wave bags, and in stainless steel bioreactors for testing.
Explored methods to optimize drug production at the cell culture stage in 2L bioreactors and shake flask studies. Researched literature and previous sample data for potential methods or additives that could improve the drug yield.
Troubleshoot and ran various lab equipment including HPLC, Nova Bioanalyzer, ABL 805, and ViCell Counter.

Research the response of receptors on Endothelial cell surfaces to proangiogenic factors through flow cytometry. Extract RNA from endothelial cells cultured under normoxia/hypoxia and ran RT-PCR on the RNA to determine gene regulation in those two conditions. Produced lentivirus by transfecting HEK 293T cells with plasmids and calcium phoshated. Titrated the lentivirus by transducing them in HEK cells and running the cells under a flow cytometer. Worked in a biosafety cabinet to plate and culture cells to confluency. Co-authored "Hypoxia Augments Outgrowth Endothelial Cell Sprouting and Directed Migration in Response to Sphingosine-1-Phosphate" in PLOS-ONE.

Determined the feasibility of applying silver coated nanoparticle films as a method of enhancing Raman Scattering, allowing for biomolecules to be classified more easily. Used a Raman spectrophotometer, dark field microscope, and AMF cantilever to assess the surface properties of the silver nanoparticle film. Prepared biomolecule mixtures that included BSA, hemoglobin, thrombin, and lysozyme to be screened on the nanoparticle surface.
