Hello! I am Khoa Le. I am a student at Northeastern University, and I am pursuing a degree in Computer Science. I am passionate about computers, both hardware and software. I am also heavily interested in AI and its algorithms and theories, as well as machine learning and mathematical modeling. My particular interest in Artificial Intelligence and robotics stemmed from my 4-year participation in my robotics team in high school, where I co-captained my team to three national appearances in which one of them we won the high-school division. I learned the importance of the engineering process, working in a team, and communication under time pressure. In college, I took classes that focused on artificial intelligence, computer systems and networks.

I have extensive Fullstack Experience through two co-ops at Dragonfly Therapeutics and currently Flexcar. Particularly, I work with NodeJS and React, as well as microservices in Spring Framework. I am currently working on a Ruby on Rails backend for Flexcar, as well as Remix front-end. I am excited to apply my skills after graduating in May 2024.

• Architectured a Scoring System in Flask, React, and PostgreSQL that Utilized AI and API calls to score prospects based on our client’s Ideal Customer Profile Fit, allowing them to contact high-value and potential prospects, and increasing Acceptance rate by 30%
• Initiated the migration from local storage for Server State to using React Query for Server State Management, reducing server syncing issues by 60% and load times by 80% through caching implementations, and Database Indexing

### Software Engineer @ Flexcar

• Optimized Spring backend endpoints by replacing synchronized API calls to external services with Kotlin Coroutines, resulting in a 52% decrease in time taken for requests
• Testing code changes and API calls with libraries such as Mockito and Mockk, as well as creating automated Python scripts to test Kafka producers and consumers between microservices
• Wrote comprehensive documentation of existing and new features of code base, allowing future repetitive and complicated work to be automated and comprehensible

• Developed Python scripts and internal automation tools for scientists, such as data entries, manipulation and calculation, which reduces manual workloads by 20% a week
