• Designed and developed the “Next Generation” software for various catastrophic models used by world-wide customers from insurance / Re-insurance domain that performs complex computation on huge amount of model data
• Lead a team of Risk Analysts that are responsible for validating client databases on the newly built RMS platform.
• Successfully re-factored and improved performance on the existing system by at least 50%.
• Delivered high-risk time-critical project that required changing multiple sdf files to protobuf formatted files, changing the code to support this, and developing tool to QA these data files.
• Created an automated test framework which is used for regression of 2000+ test cases. This tool is used as the preliminary acceptance test tool by QE team.
• Work closely with Project Managers and QE leads to deliver system on time
• Closely collaborated with Risk Modelers and Project Managers to understand the requirements in designing the software that helps clients in insurance industry to assess and evaluate risk involved in various catastrophe models.
• Worked on identifying system failure issues on Saas platform in distributed environment deployed on AWS cloud.
• Technologies used in development are C# .Net (4.0), LINQ , MS SQL Server, compact sql file, batch scripting, C++.
• Tools / IDEs used are MS Visual Studio 2012, TFS (Team Foundation Server), MS SQL Server 2010, Resharper, etc.
