Created initial wireframes and mockups, later refining them into detailed low- and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma. Presented weekly progress updates to the executive team, incorporating feedback into iterative design improvements. Developed a comprehensive implementation plan outlining next steps for integrating the redesigned feature sinto the live product. ### UX Design Intern @ Design for America Jan 2025 – Jan 2025 Collaborated with a team on a project supporting Songbirds Music, a local music education organization. Focused on redesigning both their website and social media strategy to better reflect their mission and improve user engagement. Conducted competitive analyses to understand highlights and identify heuristics from similar organizations. These insights helped us identify key areas of confusion and missed opportunities. We reframed these issues as design challenges, brainstormed potential solutions, and prioritized ideas based on user impact and feasibility. Designed low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma that aimed to improve navigation, reduce redundancies, and create a more inviting online presence. Familiarized myself with Figma, creating both low-fidelity and high-fidelity designs to make the Teach For America homepage more cohesive and user-friendly. Conducted user research through online surveys and heuristic evaluations to better understand the challenges faced by teachers and students. This research informed the development of user personas and empathy maps, helping to identify key pain points. We reframed these problems as challenges, ideated potential solutions, and prioritized them based on originality and feasibility. Additionally, we put together a concrete problem statement and solution to guide the design process. This work resulted in user-centered design solutions that aimed at improving educational experiences and enhancing Teach For America's impact. The experience significantly strengthened my skills in UX research, ideation, collaboration, and designing for social change. ### Data Science Intern @ Haspit Jan 2022 – Jan 2022 | Palo Alto, California, United States Surveyed data on the company’s current clients and drafted a marketing plan focused on Haspit’s next steps. Collaborated with another intern to compare similar products and identify key functionalities. Analyzed data patterns, summarized findings in charts, and presented the statistics to company co-founders.
