Managed the full SDLC including design, implementation, unit testing, and deployment responsibilities. RESTful API written in C#/.NET, front end written in TypeScript/Angular 14, event-driven architecture hosted in AWS using NoSQL DynamoDB and various cloud-native services. Created an open source SDK to help customers write custom rules to secure their cloud infrastructure. SDK written in TypeScript/Nodejs. ### Software Engineer @ NexLP Jan 2019 – Jan 2020 | Greater Chicago Area Worked on NexLP’s StoryEngine product to enable the use of artificial intelligence models for a seamless user experience. Worked as a full stack engineer developing a React/Redux front end with Bootstrap libraries, C#/.NET RESTful API layer, while leveraging SQL databases. ### Experienced Consultant @ West Monroe Partners Jan 2017 – Jan 2019 | Chicago Worked on an internal ETL project using Angular 2, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 to develop front end screens for the application. Spent some time in the backend using .NET core and entity framework to develop API methods and modify the existing CRUD services of the application. Worked with a team of developers to create a set of API's using a micro service architecture for a major healthcare company using .NET core and entity framework. Created a proof of concept project for the same billion dollar healthcare company to enable a click stream architecture that tracked user activity across the client portal in order to enable real time analytics. Used Kafka as the main data streaming technology, stored information in HDFS and Elasticsearch, and Docker-ized the entire architecture. Project was presented by our development team to the CIO and CTO before being sent to the CEO for implementation approval. Proof of concept was approved and then fully implemented to be deployed across seven servers using Docker Swarm as the container orchestration tool. Additional technologies were introduced, including Landoop UI tools and other data visualization tools. End of project presentation created for the CEO and CTO. Additionally, a case study of our project was selected to speak at Kafka Summit 2018 in San Francisco to describe the details of this project. Worked with a multi-billion dollar insurance brokerage firm to create an internal application that all insurance carriers use to identify policies to purchase. This application is the core service offered by the brokerage firm for carriers and underwriters to access insurance policies to view, bid, and tag for later use. Built the application using Angular 6, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, C#, React/Redux, and .NET Core. As a side project, worked on an internal initiative to build a couple of chat bots for pitches at external firms.
