I worked as a quantitative researcher at Citadel Securities, one of the world's leading market makers. 

I completed a Masters in mathematics at the California Institute of Technology. My work focused on algebraic geometry and its connection to problems from differential geometry, number theory and combinatorics. 

I have a masters degree in mathematics and bachelor degrees with honours in both mathematics and mechatronic engineering from the University of Adelaide. Because of this I have a wide range of skills that range from problem solving, analytical thinking, engineering solutions to skills critical in teams including leadership, interpersonal communication and teaching. 

I am passionate about coding, mathematics, engineering and the process of using all three to solve complex problems. 

Outside of research, I have regularly taught mathematics of all levels to middle school, high school and university students. Teaching is a passion of mine and I have helped gifted students reach the International Mathematical Olympiad (something I did myself), and perform outstandingly in problem solving competitions. I have also taught standard curriculum mathematics helping students become comfortable with all sorts of topics like calculus, geometry, linear algebra, and applied mathematics. I have also taught students with disabilities allowing them to succeed at school and not fall behind. My students have gone on to become doctors, mathematicians, physicists, quantitative researchers, software engineers, lawyers and many more. 

Outside of teaching and research, I love volleyball, tennis, rock climbing, board games and puzzles.
