👶 From a very young age I discovered that I had a versatile intrinsic curiosity for many different areas which expanded as I grew older; math and physics, businesses, economics and investing, debates and public speaking, history and politics, technology and software, psychology and self‑development.

🎓 When the time came to choose a bachelor’s and master’s degree, unlike other individuals, I did not have just one main passion. Hence, I selected the school that seemed the most intriguing to me. The design and construction of a ship seemed like a really challenging field of study.

‎‍💻 ‎As the years passed, I discovered my technical inclination towards machine learning, software and control systems. I have committed to various projects from scratch and I keep doing so. The ultimate goal is to follow a specialized career in the aforementioned fields.

🌎 I love travelling around the world and meeting new people and cultures. Until now, I have been to the following countries: Italy, Poland, Monaco, Bulgaria and Spain.

• Carried out research in Reinforcement Learning, Machine Learning leading up to the defense of my thesis.
• Managed to provide proof of concept for the weather routing of a ship using Reinforcement Learning.
• Constructed a Long Short Term Memory Neural Network predictive model for ship’s fuel consumption.

• Developed in VBA (because the company’s stuff was familiar with Microsoft Excel) a complete product intended for internal use that estimates and analyzes the dry‑dock costs per available shipyard, by obtaining data from large databases and exports an executive summary report. 
• Attended a dry‑dock with experienced engineers in Neorion Shipyards, Syros, Greece.
• Analyzed performance reports of the main and auxiliary engines using Pythia.
• Studied about the evaluation of lubricants and fuel lab reports and assisted in the update of the inventory of hazardous materials.
