Implemented full stack product features for complex actions managing CRM resources. Added and improved features such as bulk actions and associations between contacts, donations, interactions, pledges, events, calltime lists, and user roles using GraphQL mutations and subscriptions.

Wrote and updated Ruby service objects for several resources to implement advanced filtering and sorting. Leveraged ActiveRecord data validation, polymorphism, single table inheritance, and internal APIs. Wrote Rspec unit and integration tests for full coverage.

Facilitated server and client side communication via Ruby GraphQL and Apollo Client React. Wrote GraphQL mutations, queries, subscriptions, types, and interfaces for client specified data queries.

Implemented frontend features written in TypeScript and React. Built reusable React components for forms, modals, tables, and dropdowns. Implemented React Context to share data and reduce prop-drilling, used built-in and custom hooks to abstract and encapsulate repeated logic out of components.

Helped build some of the key functionality of the application working directly with the CTO and other senior engineers. Did a lot of everything as the small team required all hands on deck most of the time.

Built framework for application “To Dos” to group To Do items into buckets, render with React, and populate with data from an internal API leveraging Redis caching for speed.

Made reusable framework pieces such as the ability to deprecate certain features, internal APIs, reusable custom validations, and internally generated user messages.

Implemented data integrations between partner data and our application to serve to our end users. Connected data via external and internal APIs as well as batch data uploads through various ETL pipelines.

From July 2021 - April 2022: focus entirely on backend data integrations. Worked directly with the CX team, support team, and business team as well as external partners to launch new partnership data integrations.

Designed and created reusable, testable, and styled components following atomic design principles using React Native, Redux, Storybook, Jest, Enzyme, and Detox.

Collaborated on team of six, using extensive pair coding and tools such as Figma and Trello.

Implemented “manage rsvp” feature which allows users to modify their existing reservations and add guests. Created new components and additional reducers to make API calls to the Ruby on Rails back end.

Finalized reservation flow to enable users to complete reservations. Refactored and optimized styled components for reusability using flexbox and css.

Using React Navigation, enabled headers, form submission, and buttons to direct a user based on conditions in the Redux state or API.
