# Kristian Freed > Founding Engineer at Slingshot AI Location: London, England, United Kingdom Profile: https://flows.cv/kristianfreed I have a passion for making a difference using software and technology. What once started as a hobby decades back has since become my career and I’ve never stopped adding to my skill set, whether that is in the form of picking up new technologies or in developing as a leader and creating value through others. I have a solid foundation in computer science and practical experience working with everything from optimising low-level C++ code to designing scalable architecture, working with desktop, web, mobile, and cloud, building quick prototypes and owning platform development spanning multiple years. More recently, I have picked up modern data science techniques and experimented with quantum computing on the side. While technology is still my first love, my time is now spent more and more on how to leverage it as a tool to solve meaningful problems and, where I can, make people’s lives better. In my current role at Elder, I’ve had the opportunity to combine the two and see my work have a direct positive impact. Wherever my career may take me in the future, I will work to have a positive impact on the world, building things that people need and love. ## Work Experience ### Founding Engineer @ Slingshot AI Jan 2023 – Present | London, England, United Kingdom ### Chief Technology Officer @ Pariti Jan 2022 – Jan 2023 Pariti is a community marketplace building infrastructure for entrepreneurship.
