Key areas of work:

1. Deep learning for molecular biology: Designed an original end to end deep learning and reinforcement learning pipeline to predict the best molecular pose during drug discovery processes. Ranked 3rd in Drug Discovery Hackathon by Govt. of India and received funding for the next round.

2. Modeling and simulation of epidemics: Worked on scaling up a large scale epidemic modeling framework by creating parallel versions of the simulation model. Added new features (e.g. masking behavior in citizens) to the model.

Analysis of traffic flow models on complex networks - developed a model to simulate vehicular traffic on a scale free network and find parameters for free flow. Performed statistical analysis to calculate the probabilites of extreme events and long term dependencies in traffic flow.
