Open to design leadership conversations. ## Work Experience ### Senior Product Leader, AI-Driven Experiences @ SAP Jan 2023 – Present Product lead for AI driven experiences on SAP’s central Application AI team, delivering reusable capabilities across multiple SAP lines of business. Led product strategy and execution for an enterprise shopping agent, deep research and synthesis workflows, and generative visual services for commerce content. Defined product requirements, UX direction, and cross team alignment across engineering, design, and stakeholders to deliver production ready AI experiences. Established quality bars and evaluation loops for AI outputs, focusing on reliability, user trust, and enterprise constraints. Drove go to market readiness through clear positioning, customer facing narratives, and stakeholder alignment. Owned agent and LLM product strategy including grounding, retrieval (RAG) quality, and evaluation methods to improve reliability in production. ### Head of Design Systems @ VMware Jan 2023 – Jan 2023 Product owner for the Clarity Design System, leading product management across design, engineering, content, and accessibility for standards used across VMware’s product portfolio. Delivered platform level components, patterns, and governance that improved consistency, accessibility, and delivery velocity across teams. Role concluded following Broadcom acquisition and organizational restructuring. ### Startup Exploration @ Independent Jan 2022 – Jan 2023 Incubated a sales enablement video platform concept through High Alpha’s venture studio process, culminating in a prototype and pitch deck presented for funding consideration. Took time during this period to focus on family. ### Vice President, Platform @ Salesforce Jan 2020 – Jan 2022 | San Francisco Bay Area Platform leader for product standards and design systems across the Salesforce ecosystem, improving consistency, accessibility, and delivery speed through a combined strategy of system delivery, enablement, and education. Led a 40 person organization spanning product, design, UX engineering, tooling, and accessibility. Led the evolution of Lightning Design System, expanding patterns and foundations (motion, illustration, iconography, color) to raise experience quality across products. Built an adoption engine for the design system: launched Trailhead courses, internal webinars, newsletters, and documentation to help PMs, designers, and engineers use standards correctly. Created enablement tooling that met teams where they work, including Figma design kits, automated design checks, and IDE plugins that flagged standards and accessibility issues and provided fix recommendations. Reorganized platform UX into focused teams (patterns, tooling, UX engineering, accessibility) and implemented a prioritization and release model to scale delivery and adoption. Delivered and governed standards across interaction, conversation design, accessibility, localization, and 200+ reusable components used by internal teams and the Salesforce ecosystem. Defined Slack and Salesforce integration standards and led the rollout program to drive consistent implementation across product teams. ### Senior Director, User Experience @ Salesforce Jan 2017 – Jan 2020 | San Francisco Bay Area Led product experience strategy for IoT and mobile, launching new capabilities that connected device data to the Salesforce platform and enabled automation and mobile control experiences. Built and led the IoT and mobile UX team, partnering with product and engineering to deliver new platform capabilities and user facing products. Helped drive mobile expansion across iOS and Android experiences, improving usability and enabling key workflows on mobile. Delivered new IoT experiences that made device and event data actionable inside Salesforce through exploration, automation, and controls. ### Director, User Experience @ Salesforce Jan 2015 – Jan 2017 Led Experience Cloud UX initiatives for branded self service portals and communities, improving customer experience consistency across product offerings. Grew and scaled the Community Cloud UX team and established an operating model for planning, focus, and resourcing. Led design and branding for Lightning Bolt, enabling fully branded portals and templates for customers and partners. Re energized a struggling team and improved execution for a major, revenue driving business line Launched and expanded new employee community capabilities within Experience Cloud. ### Principal Product Designer @ Salesforce Jan 2011 – Jan 2015 Design lead for the Salesforce Lightning UI transition, helping define the high-level design architecture for Lightning Experience and the underlying platform patterns. Owned Lightning Home, including the Assistant experience that surfaced timely updates and guidance throughout the workday. Led design architecture for Lightning record experiences, defining how core CRM records are organized and presented at scale. Designed the cross-platform Action system across mobile, tablet, and web, including configurable global and contextual actions with guardrails for consistency and usability. Contributed to early Salesforce mobile platform experiences, including Salesforce1, bringing core Salesforce workflows to mobile users. ### Head of Product and Design @ SproutBox Jan 2008 – Jan 2011 Led product, design, and engineering at a start up incubator, partnering with entrepreneurs to take multiple 0 to 1 products from concept to launch. Identified and validated product opportunities, defined scope and roadmaps, and delivered MVPs with founders. Owned end to end execution across product definition, UX, and front end delivery, plus launch positioning and go to market assets. Planned and delivered projects using Agile and Scrum, typically on 3 month timelines.
