KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Product Pivot During a 0-to-1 Launch: Designed and implemented a modern end-to-end consumer and backend product experience in a matter of months that scaled our mortgage business from launch to nine-figure annualized loan volume with sustained monthly growth.
Product Strategy & Development: Designed and delivered a robust financial toolkit offering on a tight timeline to drive double digit engagement and conversion with clients.
Developing & Adapting AI Tools and Features: Leading design efforts to integrate AI enhancements to the mortgage processing experience, including document collection and comparison and improved pricing analysis. Modernizing our internal design workflow to leverage AI in the creation of prototypes, features, and live updates to the product experience.
Design Systems & Foundational Strategy: Directed the creation, maintenance, and documentation of a formal design system for all Multiply products and evolved system as new products and features were developed. Extended brand guidelines significantly to introduce and grow the mortgage offering.

Responsible for driving design system process, resources and documentation for the Consumer Shopping UX org.
KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Design Operations & Process Scaling: Led a major organizational overhaul of the UX team's Figma file structures and templates to improve internal communication, workflow quality, and consistency. Conducted extensive audits, internal interviews, and best-practice research to resolve discoverability issues across hundreds of files, ultimately publishing a standardized template library for the entire organization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Managed relationship with the Google Search Design System team to align Google Shopping patterns to the core system and scale new components to the Google Search surfaces. Partnered directly with the the global youth team's research and development team, engineering leads, and product management to design and launch innovative new features for emerging populations.

Managed a visual design and systems team of 6 direct reports that horizontally supported a larger UX organization of 30+ designers. Functioned concurrently as a hands-on staff designer, spearheading the UX and visual design for a foundational AI feature, Google Buying Guide, which launched publicly as part of Google Search's AI experiments.
KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Dual-Track Leadership: Directed a horizontal design team of six designers to support a massive Consumer Shopping UX organization of over 30 designers, ensuring UI consistency across all features and surfaces. Simultaneously operated as a primary Staff Product Designer, leading key feature development and vision.
Foundational AI Product Design: Served as the lead product designer for the Google Buying Guide, partnering with Google Shopping Labs to integrate an AI model that dynamically generates product guidance and education in response to user queries. This foundational work successfully launched as part of the public AI experiments on the primary Google Search page.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnered directly with the Google Shopping Labs research and development team, engineering leads, and product management to provide a viable vision and integration path to launch emerging AI technologies.

Design Systems & Strategy: Led the visual design team to develop the a modernized visual design system. Established the foundational grid and typography that became the underpinnings for a major redesign of the Google Shopping experience.
High-Impact Product Design: Directed the UX and visual revamp of scalable, responsive thematic landing pages. Designed and implemented merchandising modules for massive, high-traffic retail events like Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Art Direction & Brand Identity: Owned the Google Shopping illustration guidelines. Managed internal contributors and external agencies to ensure brand cohesion across UI empty states, marketing campaigns, and creator tools.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Partnered closely with Engineering, Merchandising, and Product Management. Aligned complex design deliverables across multiple tech stacks and high-traffic surfaces.
Mentorship & Team Building: Fostered team growth by conducting regular 1:1s with junior designers. Held UX Ladder Transfer Coaching sessions and conducted numerous interviews to help scale the design organization.

Mobile Web MVP & Revenue Impact: Conducted a comprehensive UX audit and spearheaded the redesign of the Google Express mobile web experience to enable full order completion. Collaborated with engineering to launch an MVP within a tight two-month timeframe, which successfully drove nearly 1,000 orders in its first three weeks live.
Conversion & Onboarding Optimization: Designed a new onboarding flow to directly address high drop-off rates upon site entry, rapidly delivering multiple variations for A/B testing.
Design Systems & Brand Strategy: Architected complex systems thinking into a unified product design spec and established the foundational creative direction for a transactional email design system.
Complex E-commerce Solutions: Navigated technical constraints to design pixel-perfect, intuitive solutions for complex retail challenges.
