I designed and developed a tool for visualizing LinkedIn's dependency tree. One particularly important use case is the ability to locate dangerous packages that have crept into your project's codebase.

The interactive page allows users to select a package from their project, and view the tree of dependencies created by the chained imports of the package's own dependencies.

Some interesting challenges while building this included dealing with cycles in the dependency graph (yes, this is possible!). Additionally, finding a visually appealing way to plot the sometimes hundreds of nodes within the confined space of a web browser created another layer of complexity.

I developed an internal dashboard web application for a division of over 100 employees. I researched the metrics the users were  interested in, prototyped them, and developed the final product. I built the full stack with node.js, express.js, MongoDB, HTML, CSS, and d3.js. The dashboard provides interactive visualizations giving insight about teams' development processes and their system's quality.

I worked on a team developing an application called MyGreenCar. The project finds the most fuel-efficient car based on a consumer's unique driving habits. I worked on the back-end with Python+Django, and the front-end with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and D3.js for data visualization.
