Fractional CTO | Creating sustainable solutions to complex problems
I am a changemaker who leads with kindness, empathy, and respect. I value fast-moving teams who operate with autonomy toward ambitious goals. I'm comfortable working across the stack, and have experience in Java, Python, TypeScript, Dart/Flutter, Objective-C, and Swift at Google.
At Google, I wore many hats.
Mobile fullstack engineer with a custom Flutter Point-of-Sale (POS) app on Android and a Java, Spanner, and gRPC backend. The Retail engineering team owns front-of-house and back-of-house systems for Google's 8 brick-and-mortar retail store locations across the USA.
•
Store Launch Ownership: Lead engineer responsible for configuring and launching Chicago and Santa Monica retail locations, including all system integration testing, configuration management, and production readiness checks.
•
Google Fi Integration: Delivered real-time pricing integration between Google Fi and Google Store point-of-sale systems, enabling dynamic carrier plan pricing for in-store Pixel purchases across all retail locations
•
Pixel Watch Cellular Promotion: Led Google Fi integration enabling automated cellular data provisioning for Pixel Watch purchases; promotion drove significant adoption of cellular models among retail customers
•
Security & Fraud Prevention: Implemented per-employee request quota system across all point-of-sale devices to limit blast radius of potential device compromise or insider threats
As Technical Lead for Gallery Apps, I help ensure technical excellence and successful delivery of Gallery's iOS & Android apps, and Gallery's Sketch plugin.
I collaborate with our cross-functional team of designers, product and program managers, and multiple engineers on our team to coordinate work, release schedules, and product roadmaps.
As an engineer working on Gallery's Plugins, I help designers showcase their work in Gallery from the applications they're already using. I primarily work in TypeScript, Swift and Objective-C to deliver a MacOS plugin for Sketch.
