Key Responsibilities:
● Utilise strong technical skills to lead and perform retrofit on Amazon Robotics with the latest technology
● End to end management for the installation of new systems as well undertaking Firmware updates on robots on daily basis, ensure all business are met by keeping all robots in a reliable and usable condition
● Ensure operational efficiency and resolve mechanical issues by replacing identified parts on robots, manage all daily preventative checks, whilst undertaking robust tests on performance
● Manage all mechanical downtime maintenance and system checks on conveyors motors safety response, ensure BAU
● Serve as first point of contact for any highlighted issues ranging from tracking offset belts to complete replacements within a two hour KPI maintenance window
● Operate a variety of niche tools, such as ultra-sonic kit equipment to listen into bearings and motors for signs of wear and tear as a controlled base monitoring approach, thermal imaging camera to book repairs prior to major breakdowns in equipment for reactive maintenance, ensuring over 98% uptime
● Perform reactive maintenance, such as responding to call outs and repairs on hydraulic pumps on the baler press and gate house combi locks
● Due to commitment and achievements, selected to undertake senior roles to promote the smooth running of operations, including managing shift operations from the command module and assigning engineering resources to address rising issues
● Continuous maintenance and diagnosing of faults on conveyors
● Demonstrate strong flexibility and adaptability skills by playing a key role on a 24/7 shift rotation
