As someone who made a significant career shift from dentistry to software engineering, my journey has been both challenging and rewarding. Growing up in Belarus, I always had a love for math and sciences but found myself immersed in the world of medicine as a dentist. After moving to the United States nearly six years ago with my husband, I decided to revisit my passion for technology and development. This decision has opened up new avenues for creativity and problem-solving that I find incredibly fulfilling.

Since transitioning into tech, I've honed my skills as a Full Stack Software Engineer at companies like ITRex Group and BiggerPicture. At FinestShops Inc., I tackled numerous JavaScript issues while developing styling for hundreds of web pages. These experiences have strengthened my abilities in languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python, and frameworks such as Flask. Each project has been an opportunity to learn something new while contributing to solutions that truly matter.

I take pride in my ability to collaborate effectively with others; during my time as a dentist back in Belarus, I worked closely with over 15 coworkers to provide patient care under pressure. This background has equipped me with strong communication skills and the ability to navigate complex situations - qualities that serve me well in tech projects today.
