Hi 👋  I am a full-stack engineer, builder and founder. I thrive by solving problems, and building useful things.

Currently exploring my next venture and excited about what's ahead.

I have 155 projects on github, but most of them are garbage. That's because I have this automatic script that creates a project and scaffolds a react project and does all of those things. Trying to keep the distance from 🧠  brain to solution as small as possible.

Built an AI video avatar generation platform (before it was cool). Had a few pilot customers. Decided to part ways after 6 months. Lars (my co-founder) went on to create simli.com which carries some of the original spirit.

### Full Stack Engineer @ Drowzee
Jan 2019 – Jan 2020 | Trondheim Area, Norway
Working as a technical lead in this neurotech-startup. Working with neural time series data (brain signals) and a signal processing pipeline written in JavaScript. Also responsible for a React Native app that contained this and was able to connect to hardware EEG headsets using Bluetooth (BLE) or WiFi.

Also wore a lot of other hats (marketing, recruiting) as it often is in small startups.

### Software Engineer @ SecondBrain
Jan 2018 – Jan 2018 | Los Angeles, California
We built an app that used artificial intelligence to aid lyrics writing. The app was called "RapGod", and I was responsible for much of the frontend functionality. I spent lot of time making the text editor, it was challenging to intuitively give space for both a human and a machine. Some people started to call me the "textbox" guy, but after a while we realized that the bigger risk was that we were turning into a "textbox company". We were an artificial intelligence company!

We run out of funds pretty quickly after attending the Techstars music accelerator. Brief journey but I learnt *a lot*.

Built a tool for visualizing and planning (crazy) sleep schedules over a 24 hour period. Went through a lot of iterations over the years. Spent a lot of time on the Canvas drawing and animations.

- Used by the whole polyphasic sleeping community every day (150-200 daily users)
- 110,000++ charts saved
- Collaborated with people all over the world

### Summer Intern @ Smartivate
Jan 2017 – Jan 2017 | Karlsruhe Area, Germany
Built an MVP in react for a configurator for smart homes. Pulled data from a huge database and made complicated survey paths feel simple and intuitive for the user.

### Founder @ thefakevirus.com
Jan 2010 – Jan 2013
Made a website for downloading computer pranks. Reached almost 50 organic daily visitors, and earned 10-15$ in ads. A great first project that brought gave me the entrepreneurial mindset. It made me realize I could earn money online, and I pranked a lot of my friends in the process
