As the primary product and interface designer for Applied BioPhotonics, I’ve supported the evolution of our photobiomodulation (PBM) medical device systems, contributing to FDA clearance, usability optimization, and international deployments. Working closely with engineering, regulatory, and marketing teams, I’ve helped shape the system’s end-user experience across hardware, software, packaging, and documentation.
Key achievements include:
→ Product Development & Usability: Designed interfaces and documentation for our Classic, Mark II™, and Infyniti™ PBM systems used for pain relief and musculoskeletal therapy.
→ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinated design handoff with manufacturing, marketing, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure visual and functional consistency.
→ Regulatory Design Support: Developed visual assets, labeling systems, and layouts required for FDA submissions and CE marking.
→ International Coordination: Worked asynchronously across time zones to deliver user-facing assets and support localization efforts in Asia, Europe, and the US.
