Contrast's leading cybersecurity platform enables developers, DevOps, and AppSec professionals to understand, remediate, and prevent security threats and vulnerabilities in software code.

Headed Citrix's renowned globally distributed product design team of 60 people focused on product design, research, and design program management. Managed various portfolios, such as desktop virtualization, enterprise application delivery, security, and analytics products. Jointly developed and implemented organizational strategic plan, UX design strategy and success measures (KPIs and OKRs), with other functional leaders and executives.

Led global design organization for Citrix, including a team of 65 design professionals. Disciplines included design, research, and design operations.

Director, Product Design (May 2018 - Mar 2021)

Led Product Design for Networking and Analytics products at Citrix, including 15 designers across multiple locations. Contributed to the growth of customers and revenue within related business units (CAS, ADM).

Delivered successful design outcomes for enterprise software products that generated $58M in yearly revenue. Led team of 10 UX professionals responsible for research, interaction design, and visual design for 15 products in OpenText portfolio.

• Data-driven and design-led approach for InfoArchive product led to annual revenue growth from $0 to $6M in the first 3 years after product launch. Rigorously sought and responded to user feedback to help drive adoption and ongoing usage.

• Integrated design system and patterns from Dell EMC into existing OpenText design system. Introduced new design system components and patterns that improved overall OpenText capabilities.

Designed and led UX across multiple enterprise products, including SaaS and installed applications by managing a globally distributed design and research team of 11 UX professionals. The origin of our business unit was Documentum, a pioneer and leader in enterprise content management (ECM). Customers ranged from fortune 100 companies to government entities across the globe.

• Designed key features in various major products, including flagship platform xCP, InfoArchive, Supplier Exchange, Syncplicity Connector, and Captiva Web Capture.

• Led design sessions and workshops for foundational concepts and design of SaaS platform and productivity apps branded as Leap Apps.

• Directed creation of 3 design systems by utilizing well-known frameworks, such as Bootstrap and material design. Augmented internal staff development and advanced company product offerings by forming partnerships with top design and strategy organizations in Bay Area.

• Guided team through a company acquisition, while maintaining high morale and minimal attrition.

Our division was acquired by OpenText on January 23, 2017.
