Improving VehicleIQ, a vehicle health information service concept, delivered via kiosks with hand-held OBD II scanners inside. VehicleIQ is meant to empower drivers with objective, preventative, and predictive insights about their vehicles and connects them to options for a better path to resolution through an interactive health report and access to a service partner ecosystem. Working in Shell's Global Commercial Digital Ventures Group to usher in and grow the next generation connected car and aftermarket ecosystem concepts for drivers, their vehicles and participating service providers and retailers. This project explored advances in O2O (Online to Offline) commerce, the convenience store of the future, digital full service gas stations and auto parts stores. Working alongside and learning from the great people in Shell's Digital Ventures Group, addressing a variety of pressing global issues. Helping Shell diversify their Global Commercial Division and reach their sustainability goals (GOAL Zero). These projects directly impacted a game-changing 2018 strategy to transform Wand into a subscription service available to any third party managed service provider. Clients include Nike, Netflix, Facebook, Goldman Sachs, KPMG, Genentech, AirBnB, and more. ### Senior Product Manager - Enterprise Analytics and Data Science @ Laborlink Jan 2015 – Jan 2018 | Oakland, CA Report to head of engineering with mandate to rebuild MyLaborlink, a data insights dashboard for global retail brands and their suppliers to improve corporate social responsibility, in part with USAID funding. Delivered MyLaborlink 2.0. It replaced a cryptic CMS with no deliberate user experience or business growth goals. Used Atlassian products to manage product development sprints and a backlog. Project managed details while shepherding the roadmap. Oversaw a new site design and new invite and registration system for users. Devised a notifications strategy to improve communication with users. Introduced aggregate metrics and factory worker survey KPIs to the MyLaborlink dashboard. Managed several usability studies. Delivered better and more simple experiences on Laborlink IQ, Laborlink's internal data management platform. Improved data cleaning dashboard, data publishing workflow, messaging, and UI standardization. Introduced worker survey falsification and response coaching detection feature in partnership with Data Scientist. Mentored programmers, data analysts, and operations team in design thinking practices. Created personas to keep teams focused on who our products serve and what their actual problems are. Laborlink was incubated at Fair Trade USA in Oakland, CA with funding assistance from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). Laborlink collects and then translates workplace signals into actionable insights for retail brands and suppliers. Laborlink is changing the supply chain sourcing and compliance paradigm, and changing supplier behavior to be more effective. Since 2010, Laborlink reached more than 1 million people working in the factories of the world's largest apparel and electronics retailers, like The Walt Disney Co., Levi's, ASOS, West Elm, Eileen Fisher, and Vodafone, in countries like China, India, Bangladesh, Mexico and The United States. Designed the Microsoft SharePoint integration experience, connecting Mindjet customers to one of the world’s largest repositories of enterprise data. Created low and high fidelity design concepts and prototypes. ### Product Designer - AutoCAD Design Software @ Autodesk Jan 2001 – Jan 2003 Refined the iDrop feature, letting designers drag current furniture objects and metadata from the web right into their AutoCAD drawing files. Improved the installation experience for Autodesk’s largest install base, AutoCAD, decreasing support calls.
