Highlights include an "explorer" for efficiently crawling and documenting the recursive complexity of integers utilizing finite state transducers as rapid-lookup data-stores (Rust and Ruby backend with a Dart/Flutter UI), a social-network style recipe application (React Native, Ruby on Rails, SQL, Cypher, Elasticsearch, MinIO/S3, Docker, and others), a full-stack skeleton for generic cross-platform social-network applications (Dart/Flutter, Ruby on Rails, Docker), a stock-trading practice game (Javascript/HTML/CSS PWA), and a real-time chat application designed for use in university lecture halls to promote engagement, with integrated state-of-the-art transcription and RAG models to provide instructors with granular insight into student comprehension and to provide students with high-quality study resources post-class.

Recently I have been experimenting with transformer architectures for stock market forecasting. I'm currently developing models using windowed OHLCV data augmented with price deltas to perform multi-output multi-step forecasting of future candlestick sequences.

Single-handedly built and continue to maintain and add features to two cross-platform Flutter applications serving hundreds of businesses and tens of thousands of end-users internationally. Coordinate directly with the CEO, one backend developer, one designer, and one QA specialist to orchestrate projects and deliver new features on or ahead of schedule. Implemented company-wide professional workflows and organization standards that reduced friction and achieved 3x reduction in idea-to-product delivery time.

### Backend Engineer @ IRL - Do More Together
Jan 2020 – Jan 2021 | Santa Cruz, CA
Scaled backend infrastructure and tooling during rapid growth phase (pre-Series C, ~30 people). Leveraged TDD to create reliable and performant API endpoints. Successfully led campaign to improve system-wide error-handling and reporting, resulting in seamless removal of all instances of generic error handling throughout the entire backend codebase, with more than half of all files affected. Created automated sitemap-generation script to regularly and efficiently read and document billions of database records for SEO optimization. Created anti-spam framework to track and disable spam accounts based on IP address and pattern-recognition in request structures. Initiated development on a graph-database for efficient social-network style querying between billions of records – initial development included creating migration scripts and building bespoke and complex queries in the Gremlin Query Language. Helped onboard junior engineers, fielding questions about the codebase and providing general guidance when needed.
