My role allowed me to actively participate in a variety of pivotal projects in Microsoft Bethesda, leading to substantial enhancements in our service offerings:
Service Rewrite:
•
Led the rewriting of Bethesda's mods API, title-storage, and message-of-the-day services by utilizing Go for improved efficiency and performance.
•
Successfully deployed these revamped services on AWS in a production environment, resulting in a remarkable 90% cost reduction.
Bethesda Mods v2 Stats:
•
Spearheaded the implementation of a robust statistics system using Timescale DB and Kafka, enhancing data analytics and insights.
•
Orchestrated the deployment of this system on AWS through Kubernetes, ensuring seamless performance in a production setting.
Bethesda Mods v2 PGSearch:
•
Directed the migration of the service from ElasticSearch to PGSearch, achieving a 100% removal of ElasticSearch from the Bethesda Mods v2 service.
•
