# Leo Robinovitch > Software Engineer at Tesla Location: San Francisco, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/leorobinovitch I am a software engineer with a commitment to producing solutions to the most important problems facing the world today. These include energy, the climate crisis, building stronger social services and increasing global wellbeing. You can see some of my personal work at https://theleo.zone ## Work Experience ### Staff Software Engineer @ Tesla Jan 2025 – Present I work on the platform team for Autobidder, Tesla Energy's product for managing batteries connected to electric grids. For scale, 100 megawatt-hours can power about 3000 American homes for a day. Autobidder controls hundreds of megawatt-hours of batteries that help meet the needs of electric grids around the world. Autobidder operates at every scale: from aggregating many individual at-home systems (Tesla Powerwalls) to 100MW+ utility-scale installations (Tesla Megapacks). Autobidder-managed batteries charge and discharge according to the needs of the grid, enabling higher grid capacity, better grid reliability, and the introduction of more renewable energy sources. https://www.tesla.com/support/energy/tesla-software/autobidder ### Senior Software Engineer @ Tesla Jan 2024 – Jan 2025 | Palo Alto, California, United States ### Senior Software Engineer @ Voltus, Inc.
