### Staff Software Engineer @ Tesla
Jan 2025 – Present
I work on the platform team for Autobidder, Tesla Energy's product for managing batteries connected to electric grids.

For scale, 100 megawatt-hours can power about 3000 American homes for a day. Autobidder controls hundreds of megawatt-hours of batteries that help meet the needs of electric grids around the world. Autobidder operates at every scale: from aggregating many individual at-home systems (Tesla Powerwalls) to 100MW+ utility-scale installations (Tesla Megapacks).

Autobidder-managed batteries charge and discharge according to the needs of the grid, enabling higher grid capacity, better grid reliability, and the introduction of more renewable energy sources.

* Implemented a push/pull based metrics architecture for instrumenting Scala code, passing statsd metrics through to internal observability platforms
