As part of the User-Focused Security Engineering team, I designed, built, owned, and maintained multiple UI products that helped manage workforce and engineering security. This product portfolio is the user-facing portion of services that support user, application, and endpoint security. My responsibilities ranged from onboarding new entities, running migrations and refactorings, and providing on-call support, to coordinating experiments, research, design cycles, and releases to ensure seamless user experiences and effective security outcomes.

Working primarily with JavaScript, Node, React, and Figma, I also supported and maintained

GraphQL APIs and was hands-on in developing everything from client-side architecture to refining aesthetic design for a polished, intuitive final product.

I also had the privilege of onboarding and mentoring multiple early-career engineers, coaching them in developing their design and UI skills, and preaching about strong product practices early in their careers.

I work closely with the founding team to deliver seamless user experience solutions for Resourcely’s innovative cloud infrastructure security platform. In this high-complexity technical space, I translate intricate security concepts into intuitive solutions that empower users to navigate and manage complex cloud environments securely. Over the years, I’ve developed and scaled a robust design system that grows with the product, continuously guiding the engineering team in building and evolving the platform, while creating intuitive, uncomplicated, and delightful ways for customers to manage their cloud infrastructure.

Designed and developed innovative web applications for startups across FinTech, AI, Security, and Game Development industries. Built a robust portfolio of MVPs and proof-of-concept products that helped showcase technology, secure investment capital, and support rapid iteration with customers. Worked primarily with Sketch, JavaScript, Node, React, Python, and Flask.

Worked on multiple projects built in PHP and Laravel, using Blade as the templating engine. Collaborating with a team of engineers with varying levels of seniority and experience, I played a key role in maximizing software usability through thorough UX research, prototype creation, and rethinking interactions to build clean, practical, and user-friendly interfaces. I maintained close collaboration with the back-end team to ensure seamless integration and functionality. By combining my design skills with my engineering, I helped the team deliver better products that met the needs of our end-users.
