As CTO and founder of Alliance Software, I have over 18 years of experience in developing and overseeing software solutions for mixed industries, including energy, education, and e-commerce. While most recently I have worked in Python and Typescript, I also have experience in PHP and C/C++. I have dual degrees in Software Engineering and Law from the University of Melbourne.

I have also founded two spinoff companies - Vidnami and Web2TV, which focused on AI-powered video content and aged care media systems respectively. Both were sold to listed companies.

  - Hired more than 50 staff, ran bi-monthly training presentations for 10 years, ran intensive on-boarding (esp pair programming).
  - Staff engagement surveys showed in top 20% of industry peers. Average tenure of permanent staff almost 5 years.

- Directly architected, led and delivered over 30 major web applications.
  - Largest greenfields project involved 10 devs, $3m total spend with a domain complexity reflected in over 200 (properly normalised) SQL tables.
  - Largest work within an existing system involved handling hundreds of millions of records within an international team of 150 developers.

- Architected and led development of digital TV broadcasting systems for aged care facilities.

- Custom remote management & monitoring system allowed remote diagnosis of any issues and remote software upgrades (including full OS upgrades). In six years hundreds of devices were delivered with zero device failures due to software issues.

- User interface was specifically designed to cater to aged care staff needs and customer feedback was that it was significantly better than competing products (typically hospitality TV systems).

- Company acquired by Swift Networks.
